The Dominator is a hybrid shrimp pattern built for fish that want movement, profile, and a little more presence in the water.
Tied on a Daiichi 2546 size #1 hook.
Unlike a traditional clean shrimp profile, the Dominator blends shrimp and baitfish characteristics into one aggressive presentation. The extended tail and mixed materials create a larger silhouette, while the front-end collar and rubber legs keep the fly grounded in a natural shrimp look.
This is the fly you throw when standard shrimp patterns feel too subtle. It pushes more water, shows more profile, and gives fish a reason to commit instead of just follow.
Where a pure shrimp fly excels in finesse situations, the Dominator is built for:
