The Tailhook was designed to get you up and down the tree quickly and quietly. Its light and made of dense rubber so it won't break or rip your expensive gear, break while leaning on a tree, yet flex to allow various platform shapes to fit.
Backpacks only solve part of the problem but leave your gear out of reach. Already bought one? Of course you did. Great! Move the platform down to the tailhook and get to climbing once you reach the tree! Don't have one yet? No problem. Walk in hands free with your platform ready to go on the Tailhook.
Fits most platforms on the market with 1" expandable opening and a 1.5" hook. Attaches to any saddle with PALS/MOLLE webbing at the top.
