The Silvertip Predator Fly Rod is Jackson Hole Fly Company's performance rod built for anglers who go after bigger, harder-fighting fish — in environments that demand more from their gear. Built on a high-modulus IM6 graphite blank with a medium-fast-action taper, the Predator generates the line speed, quick recovery, and precise energy transfer needed to punch large flies into the wind, manage complex rigs, and execute long casts with authority. It carries the backbone to subdue aggressive fish without sacrificing the feel and control needed for accurate presentations.
Saltwater-ready from the hardware up, the Predator is equipped with corrosion-resistant titanium stripping guides, hard chrome snake guides, and a salt-safe anodized reel seat built to stand up in marine environments. A full-wells premium cork grip with extended fighting butt delivers the leverage and endurance you need during extended battles with powerful fish.
The four-piece design travels without compromise — packing into a protective rod sock and 32" travel tube for steelhead runs, redfish flats, coastal jetties, and destination trips wherever the fish are big and the conditions are demanding.
