Smoother Casts at an Attainable Price
The Shimano Caius C Low Profile Baitcasting Reel combines a lightweight and compact body with proven casting technologies. Its Variable Brake System uses centrifugal force and weights to control initial spool acceleration while allowing free spool rotation through the end of the cast to help reduce backlash. Super Free Spool reduces friction that can limit casting distance while the aluminum S3D spool minimizes vibration for a smoother baitcasting experience.
