- Hendricksons can be a prolific hatch on many rivers, however, I would happily fish this fly anytime I saw brown mayflies.
- Parachutes are great for "rougher" waters as they tend to stay afloat much better than traditional dry flies.
- Light Blue Dun is used to make the tail and hackle this fly, which in my humble opinion is one of the better hackle colors out there for dry flies, but particularly on mayfly imitations.
