Daiwa's Swept Handle positions the handle closer to the rod centerline to minimize wobble and wasted energy during retrieval. The Ultimate Tournament Drag UTD system uses impregnated carbon drag discs treated with Daiwa DSG505 grease to increase effective drag power while providing smooth consistent performance with reduced start-up resistance.
