- It has been known to work on many rivers, but excels in spring creeks and pocket water.
- While called a caddis pattern it has been known to cross over into mayfly land particularly in the PMD world.
- Side note: if applying floatant make sure to use a CDC friendly floatant to keep fibers from mashing together.
