- Designed to be fished on the swing, the Chubby Cousin was created on the banks of the Yuba River.
- It has since found is way into many a fly box and is typically dead drifted with great success. Rubber legs are intentionally left long so the fisherman can cut to size as needed.
- Longer legs added a bit more attraction when swinging, while shorter legs work better for dead drifting.
